Sawwweeeet! We live in beeeauuutiful Glasgow with out cat Buttz (yep, Buttz!). Jo loves to jump out and scare Liam when she can, while Liam loves nothing more than to put a record on while he catches up on what's going on in the world.
The moments that move us are those 'blink and you miss it' ones - a touch, a look, a huge belly laugh. The goddam splendid emotion of a moment that may otherwise be forgotten - that's the magic right there.
Hellooooo, I'm Jo (casually lunging in the photo above). Feeling a connection with our couples is important to me, and getting to call this 'my job' feels bloomin wonderful - it's all about the story and I'm a killer for romance. Even if that romance is getting a coffee made for you in the morning, just the way you like it (cough cough, L-Dawg). What's romantic to you?
If you ask me to name my favourite things they are coffee, a good gin, Peaky Blinders and bizarre chat. I'd like to be a person that can sip a wee whisky from time to time, but I've yet to find my perfect dram. Music makes my soul woop, from Royal Blood to Annie Lennox, King Creosote to Radio 6 - don't get me started on Elbow! Live at Jodrell Bank...I mean c'mon, it's epic!
In my spare time I run, I shop, I fight bears...just a normal girl really! Ok so the last part is a lie...
I hardly ever shop ;)
MASSIVE thank you to the incredible Zoe Alexandra for the wonderful photographs of us :) xx
Hiya, I'm Liam. I've always loved taking photographs, but had no idea that when Jo and I met that one day we'd be photographing weddings side by side. Crazy, but I like it! My role in all of this? Well, to buddy alongside Jo, take photographs along the way and help her tell your story. One awesome day of happiness in the many to come for a couple, and we get to be there. I always want to know where the story goes for our couples. Human stories are the best ones.
What else is there to know? Berlin is my favourite city in the world, I'd like to live there one day...I go at least once a year, whether Jo is up for coming or not... I grew up listening to the likes of The Beatles, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder and Joni Mitchell and believe that all music sounds better on a record, unless it's live of course.
Trying new beers is always up there, and Anthony Bourdain is the coolest cat on the planet. Except Buttz. I can also confirm that Jo does in fact like jumping out and scaring me. Sigh.
"OMG, WE COULDN'T ACTUALLY FORM WORDS, I WAS JUST MAKING LITTLE WAILING NOISES AND CLAPPING MY HANDS EVERY TIME A NEW PHOTO APPEARED!
THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE BETTER THAN WHAT WE COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED, WE ARE SO GLAD WE HAD YOU THERE ON OUR DAY - EVEN MY MUM CAN'T STOP CRYING. THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES OVER!"
