Joyful Tall Ships Wedding Greg + Scott! What can Joyful Tall Ships Wedding Greg + Scott! What can we say about these two? They started their day with some pals, rainbow sashes, and a @parkrunuk before heading home to get ready. Once they had non-running gear on we drove them to the City Chambers for their ceremony. After a few toasts and a wander through the halls, we headed to The Tall Ships for the rest of the celebrations - with a quick post-dinner costume change to really get the party started! These two light up every room (or deck) they walk into. They’re absolutely adored by their friends and family, and we adore them too. It was such a joy to photograph this brilliant bunch (or should we say clump, Greg?) of silly geese having the best time together. It was important to Greg and Scott that their wedding was relaxed and full of laughter. They didn’t want perfectly coordinated timings or over the top extravagance. They definitely nailed the brief. And it’s definitely worth mentioning... Greg + Scott first got in touch with us at the end of February for their July wedding. So don’t believe everything you read online about always needing to book years in advance to avoid disappointment. Joyful Wedding at The Kelvin How lucky are we? Ou Joyful Wedding at The Kelvin How lucky are we? Our ‘job’ is to witness couples in love on one of the happiest days of their lives. We get to watch how they are with each other, with the people they love, and how they move through the world both separately and together. It’s honestly hard to put into words, and I’m not sure we could ever do it justice. Antonia + Eilidh invited us into their world for a few hours, and it was full of joy, emotion, and so much love. They trusted us completely to document their day as it unfolded, and what a gift that was.The loveliest, silliest, most heartfelt day. Absolutely lovely review from our favourite Scouse Absolutely lovely review from our favourite Scousers, thank you so much Jodie + Paul <3 “I’ve been putting off writing this review as I honestly don’t think I have the words to express how amazing Jo and Liam are. From the first online chat, I felt like we’d made some new friends who were also insanely talented photographers! My husband and I kind of eloped - so our ceremony was just us, the celebrant (the amazing Claire Digance) with Jo and Liam as our witnesses. We had a mini adventure after the ceremony to a few spots Jo and Liam had scoped out, went for a pint and then a wander in the hermitage. Afterwards, we met our parents and friends to celebrate with drinks and a meal! As we’d planned the wedding to be a little different to a traditional wedding, we were a little worried about how the day would work out but with Jo and Liam we didn’t need to worry at all. They brought so much energy and fun to the day while also allowing my husband and I to have time to just chat and spend the day together. I really don’t think we would have had such a fun, lovely and relaxing day if we hadn’t had Jo and Liam with us. The photos are unbelievable! I couldn’t believe the photos were of us - as a camera shy couple we didn’t know what to expect but Jo and Liam are the ultimate professionals. Very occasionally they would move us to a certain place but for the majority of the day, it was just us chatting, laughing and enjoying ourselves! We absolutely love the photos of us meeting our parents and friends later on in the day - they captured the love and fun sooooo well. I’m so thankful they were part of our day. An idyllic brunch in the stunning greenhouse, followed by Highland Games with just the *right* amount of competitiveness (we’re looking at you Jennifer), a gorgeous dinner and to end the most perfect day, s’mores and drinks down at the beach as the fire-pit crackled away. Jennifer + Mike chose us for their vow renewal trip as they loved our candid/documentary style. In their words, “It’s not just a trip about us, it’s a celebration of love and friendship for all of us.” Always an absolute honour when couples give us their full trust to photograph their day as it felt, and not how it looked.
