✨Indo-Scottish Wedding at Achnagairn Castle✨ ✨Indo-Scottish Wedding at Achnagairn Castle✨ It was our absolute honour to be asked to photograph @rahee91 + Adam’s Hindu wedding at Achnagairn Castle. What an absolute feast for the senses, and what a joy to witness so many beautiful and emotional traditions once again. A big wedding in terms of guest numbers, that still felt intimate due to how open and welcoming everyone was. And what an amazing day it was too, one to remember for sure! Happy anniversary pals, how has it been a year?! Happy anniversary pals, how has it been a year?! Ellie + Dan really stuck to their guns with what they wanted their wedding to look like. Stripped back, M&S cakes, dinner in a marquee decorated by family, games in the garden of Ellie’s family home, with a wander round the grounds taking in the last of the light. How did it feel? Relaxed, joyful, intentional. One of our favourite things that we don’t see to One of our favourite things that we don’t see too often on a wedding day; witnesses finding out at the time of signing that they are getting to be witnesses, as opposed to them knowing in advance. It makes for some lovely reactions. Double points for making it your grandparents (you know we have such a soft spot for grandparents, they’re our kryptonite!). The legacy wrapped up in them signing your forever paperwork. Geez, pass the tissues. Of course, it’s best to let your photographers know if you’re going to do a surprise reveal so that they can get the good stuff. It can be a bit squeaky bum time for us, trying to surreptitiously aim the camera their way without giving the game up. So worth it though.
